FunFangle

For Churches & Faith Organizations

Built for VBS week, the fall festival, and camp.

A ministry calendar runs on volunteers and a handful of big weeks. Each one means knowing who’s here, who’s picking up, and who paid, usually from a clipboard and a cash box. FunFangle puts all of that on one wristband, from a team that understands faith-based community life.

You know the feeling.

Pickup run by volunteers

VBS check-out handled by whoever is on the door that night, matching faces to names, with no record of who left with whom.

Tickets on paper

Festival and fundraiser tickets at the door. Guest lists on clipboards. Registration in one spreadsheet and admission in another.

The cash box

Snack money in envelopes, camp store cash in a lockbox, and a count at the end of the week that never quite ties out.

What changes when the wristbands go on.

Crossings Ministries runs two camps in Kentucky and Tennessee and serves about 20,000 students a year.

“Prior to using FunFangle, I never really truly felt like the numbers I was getting out of the previous system were really what happened. Now it gives you a good feeling to know that you have that report you can run.”

— Tina Lichtefeld, Controller, Crossings Ministries

We understand faith-based community life.

FunFangle was born at overnight camps, and many of the camps we serve are church and ministry camps. We know what a VBS week asks of a volunteer team, and what a youth retreat asks of the person holding the cash box.

You’ll find a values-aligned platform here, and a team that would rather explain than hype. If this fits the way your ministry works, we’d like to help. If it doesn’t, we’ll say so.

Run an after-school program too? The same check-in and pickup verification works on a school-year schedule. See FunFangle for after-school →

Frequently asked questions.

What does FunFangle do for a church?

One wristband per child, and the pieces your ministry actually uses: VBS and day camp check-in with verified pickup, online ticketing and registration for festivals, fundraisers, and retreats, and camp or snack bar accounts that parents fund from home. Most churches start with one.

How does VBS check-out work?

Scan-verified check-in and check-out. Every child is released to an adult you have authorized, with a timestamped record, whoever is on the door that night.

Can we sell tickets for a fall festival or a fundraiser?

Yes. Guests register and buy online, staff scan at the door, and you know who actually came, with registration and admission on one list instead of two spreadsheets.

Can leftover camp account balances go to missions?

Yes. Leftover balances can go to missions, and campers can give at the register.

How much does it cost?

Starting at $3.75 per account for camp and day-camp programs, and $0.90 and 0.90% per ticket for events. Request a quote for your specific setup.

Is FunFangle a fit for a faith-based organization?

FunFangle was born at overnight camps. We know what a VBS week asks of a volunteer team and what a youth retreat asks of the person holding the cash box, and we would rather explain than hype. If it fits the way your ministry works, we would like to help. If it does not, we will say so.

If this fits your situation, we’d like to help.

Tell us about your VBS, your events, or your camp, and we’ll show you the pieces that make sense for how your ministry operates.
